Learn how to export your users for E-mails and other services
This guide shows you how to export your customer list from Mana and open it correctly in a spreadsheet so every column lines up. You can use it to filter and segment your members, then quickly copy a clean list of email addresses for newsletters, campaigns, and one‑off reach‑outs—while keeping your original data intact.
Note: Mana exports as a CSV file to keep all the data intact. Sometimes it requires a few extra steps to make the data manageable.
First you need to export your data from Mana
We recommend using google drive and google sheets as it is free and you can share the data to other people if needed. Usually you simply need to drag and drop the file to google drive and it will automatically be converted so that you can use it. If that is not the case you can:
Quick tip for filtering the data:
Select everything: (On mac: CMD+A, On Windows Ctrl+A) and in the upper menu go to:
Data → Create a filter.
Now you can sort the data and filter as needed to create your required segments.
You can also use Apple Numbers to review the file. Usually it converts automatically. If not, follow the steps below:
Excel is one of the trickier services to open CSV files with and requires some manual work to get everything right. Start by opening an Excel file and go to:
